Fees and Insurance

Do you accept other types of insurance? My insurance is not listed.

Yes I accept many insurance plans however may be considered an out-of-network provider with your plan. In those cases, you will be responsible for paying the standard rate up front and I will provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company to obtain reimbursement. You will receive a portion of your original investment (40%-70%) back from your insurance company.

What should I say to my health insurance plan when I call to inquire about my coverage?

You should contact your particular health insurance plan to determine your specific coverage. You may want to ask them the following questions:

• Do I have a mental health deductible and has it been met for this calendar year? If so, how much is my deductible?

• Do I have to pay a co-pay to receive therapy services? If so, how much will my copay be?

• Can I get reimbursed for going to a therapist out-of-network? If so, what amount will I be reimbursed per session?

• How do I go about submitting my reimbursement claim?

• Is there an maximum number of sessions allowed per year?

Why do I need a credit card to start services?

All clients are required to put a credit card on file to cover copays, deductibles and session fees. Clients who do not put a card on file must pay for their full session at the time of service.

Will I be charged if I cancel a session?

• If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance you will not be charged a fee for your session.

• If you cancel your session after 24 hours (same day) you will be charged a $50 fee.

• If you do not show up for your scheduled session and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will pay the full cost of the session.
